FAQ's

We can repair most screen doors, replace handles, wheels and mesh. Window screens can be re-meshed as long as the bar or frame isn’t bent. If your screen has a little door (called a wicket) used to access the handle to open your window, we can replace them too!

We install Mirage retractable screens custom cut to fit your doors. They can be installed on single or french doors and come in a variety of colours to blend in. They can also be installed on very large openings!

We can remesh your retractable screen if it is torn or worn down. Not all retractable screens are designed to replace mesh. Please check with us!

It is possible that your windows need new hinges or balances.

You are welcome to bring your screens to our shop for repair or replacement. Drop them off and pick them up to install yourself.

We install Thermoproof windows and patio doors that are manufactured on Vancouver Island. Double and triple pane windows are available. We measure, install, clean up and take away your old windows.

We will replace sealed units if they have failed or broken. Failed sealed units will have a cloudy look or moisture between the panes of glass.

We will replace wheels, handles, locks, weather stripping and glass on patio doors and windows.

Condensation on your windows can be caused by too much humidity in the home. As soon as Fall arrives and temperatures start to drop, condensation is one of the most common problems facing homeowners. Be sure to open window treatments, circulate the air and ensure proper ventilation. Condensation will also occur when your windows are not properly sealed. In this case you might need to replace the sealed unit in them.
